Millonarios with 13 stars and Santafe with 6 stars. They were the boggest teams, with amazing soccer players and exellent board of directors, thes unbelievable times maybe never return to these.
Recently, they had a lot of problems but the boggest one is the bad luck or I don't know how to call that, Since 1998 Millonarios has not been able to win a tournament and Santafe since 1975.
The time runs in full speed and more problems appear and these teams have a lot of reasons to lose everything:
- Bad finacial control
- They do not pay on time the wage to the soccer players
- Corruption
- Board of directors use the cash of the team to grow up their own fortunes.
In the last 19 years both of the Bogota teams are the teams with less championship. They have played 58 tournaments without hawing a victory in the Colombian Professional soccer.
Although the fans always go to the Stadium to cheer up theri teams, it is admirable the self-denial of the fans of the Bogota teams and they always expect the day when they can see their teams whit another star.
The big part ot thise problems is because of the managers and te owners of the institucuon.
They consume all the money and they deceived the people with a lot of promise like for example they spend the money to build up a new stadium and stuff like that but these things are lies.
Those people do watgever they want for example postpone the payment of the soccer players. If you don have the cash, you can't play with all your skills.
And the big question is when are we going to enjoy the glorious Bogota teams like 19 years ago?
